What is Embryo Donation?
Embryo donation is a procedure in which a couple is unable to conceive through IVF technology using their own egg and sperm. This might be due to difficulties with the recipient's egg, sperm, or both. In some circumstances, the couple can choose to adopt an embryo created from a donor egg and fertilized with unrelated donor sperm.
Who is an Embryo Donor?
The donated embryo is the output of two unrelated egg and sperm donors.
